A letter to you

Nothing makes me as happy, as knowing you are reading my blog posts, and any other social media update out there.

You freaking rock.

You will hear people say that they don’t care about people reading their blogs. That they don’t care about the numbers, and that numbers doesn’t matter. That they are just writing for themselves.

And respect to them.

But the truth is that nothing makes me more happy than seeing the numbers on my website crawl up and up. Because I write for people. I write because I want to help and inspire and connect.

Getting comments on my posts make me smile, hearing someone say that my content is great, brightens my day. Knowing I connected with you in some way makes everything better.

When someone comments “I really needed to hear this today” it means that all the hours spent working and planning and thinking and ripping hair out trying to get it all done, wasn’t all for nothing. It means that I did what I set out to do.

So, if you want to make a blogger happy, leave a comment, send them a message, retweet them or link to them.

It means a million smiles to us.

So, again, thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for being you.

Love, Tea
