Happy March

We are now three months into the year, which I still find super hard to believe, like, where did the first two months go? But damn, it’s been some crazy months.

First, I finally, finally, after 10 years of biting my nails over the thought of letting my baby out into the world, published my book.

Yes, you heard that right, I published DRAGONSLAYER.

It’s been nerve-wracking and I’m still a bit nervous about it, but it also feels amazing, and I can’t even put into words how amazing it feels.

(If you’re interested in buying a copy, it’s available over on AMAZON as Ebook, in print, and on Kindle Unlimited)

Look how pretty it is ❤

But, life is rarely all roses and happiness, so about a week after I published, Corona hit me and the kids. The kids were done with Corona in about four days, but I was sick for a couple of weeks, and I still cough and I’m still more tired than normal here weeks after.

Lots of tea and a puppy helps when sick

And, of course Corona hitting, paired up with me starting my new Marketing Management education, so a week into it I had to call in sick.

Updated the cover of my calendar and made a matching badge 😛

On the writing front life is good.

I’m finishing up my next novel, WICKED WITCH, that will hopefully hit the market this summer.

Other than that I’m as always working on a whole handful of stories, and if you’re interested you can read more about it under BOOKS TO COME.

Me and the oldest kiddo made some living wall art above my desk ❤

I’ve also joined the Twitter space WOMEN WRITERS run by Megan and Abby. It’s an amazing place for female writers of any kind (the space is open for anyone who doesn’t identify as a cis gendered male) where you can get all kinds of tips and tricks on everything from writing to marketing. So go follow those two amazing women over on twitter ❤

How has your start to 2022 been? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Oh my goodness, massive congratulations on your book, that’s wonderful news! Sorry about COVID though, fingers crossed you start to feel much better soon. Our 2022 has been pretty quiet so far – hoping it will continue that way 🙂

    1. I actually enjoyed it a lot. Bingewatched it in one day, then had to go watch it again because I had a slight fever when I watched it the first time and there were parts I kind of missed. And I still liked it the second time. Can’t wait for the next season to come out 😛
