2 weeks to go

OMG, this is not a drill. This is not a drill.

We’re just two weeks away from the release of my book.

Two weeks! That’s 14 days. 336 hours (yes, I did the math).

You would think that after already publishing nine books, number ten would be a breeze, but it somehow never gets easier, and now that it’s a trilogy, and this is the dreaded book two, I’m just even more nervous than normal.

Just try and google ‘dreaded book two’ and see how many things come up with people complaining that the second book in a trilogy sucks, is boring, and nothing is happening.

So, fueled by coffee and panic snacks, I have worked hard to hopefully make book two even better than book one, but fuck man, I’m still nervous.

So, today, I’m going to say thank you. Whoever you are, thank you. Truly. Your support, your interest, and your excitement mean more than I can say. Knowing there are people out there who are as curious, hopeful, and eager as I am about this book makes it all worth it.

And with that said, here’s a bit of what you can expect from the coming two weeks.

  • A sneak peek of the first chapter here on the blog
  • Lots of quotes and posts on Instagram
  • Questions and fun on Discord
  • And a few other silly things 😛
  • And from the 28th to the 30th, you can grab a copy of A Dance of Lies and Lust for free.

If you’ve been thinking about pre-ordering, now’s a great time! Not only will it guarantee you get the book ASAP, but it also sends a big signal to the world that this story is worth paying attention to. And honestly, seeing people preorder feels so amazing.

I’m counting down the days, and I hope you are too. Here’s to the next two weeks being full of excitement—and maybe a little magic.

P.S. If you have any questions about the book or just want to share your excitement, drop a comment or send me a message. I’d love to hear from you!
