Trying to convince you to read my book through quotes 😏

A Dance of Lies and Lust has so many great places to quote, so it’s hard to pick just a few to share, but here is a few of my favorites 😏

Sofie slowly moved her hand to the knife at her side. “Says the man who plays with dead things.”

A grin spread on his lips, and a dark chuckle left him. “Oh, I play with a lot of things, Twisted.”

Sofie choked back a laugh. She had to be losing her mind. Flirting with a man who only seconds before tried to kill her.

Chapter 8

She was supposed to keep a low profile, and so far, she had stabbed a guy and slept with her boss. Not exactly what she would call under the radar.

Chapter 7

“Do you still love him?”

“I do, but I also hate him. I hate him so much it burns in my stomach and makes my heart ache. I wish I didn’t love him. I wish I could get him out of my heart.”

Chapter 33

“Stupid,” she said. “Very stupid.” She grabbed the small arrow in her shoulder and yanked it out. It hurt worse than being shot, and dots danced in front of her eyes. She breathed deep, then jammed the arrow into the guard’s eye. The man collapsed on the marple floor, his blood spreading in an oddly pleasing patternaround his face.

Chapter 30

“You saved me.” His voice was dark and filled with sleep. “After I stabbed you,” she pointed out and walked to the chair. She sat down, never taking her gaze from the man. “I’m pretty sure I deserved that.”

Chapter 3

He wanted to fight. Wanted to get them all off him. He couldn’t take any more. He was already broken. Beaten.

Chapter 4

“You know what I do to brats who can’t keep their fucking mouth shut, nor do as told?”

Chapter 34

“Oh, sweetheart. You couldn’t handle me even if you tried.”
